| Hi Simon, I wanted to thank you for your part in this morning's walk. It was great to meet you and see your farm. Thank you very much for the bacon rolls and coffee :) Graham | Despite the awful weather we were so glad we attended Open Farm Sunday 2011. It was good to hear about the farm's organic and wildlife aspect on the tour. Bob & Cheri |
| Thank you very much for looking after us so well on Sunday. We all had a great time despite the weather - in fact it made the day more memorable in a strange way! The tractor ride was a big hit and we hope to follow the nature trail when the weather improves. Katie | We have all had a lovely time and I have been making my own bread ever since our visit. My 14 year old son is finally eating bread!! Jane |
| The owners and staff at Billow Farm were warm and welcoming and made the whole day nice. Thank you | I didn't realise how much went into ensuring there is a good environment for wildlife. I think Billow Farm are doing a wonderful job and I have built a small bug hotel in my garden with my grandchildren. |
| The work being done at Billow Farm is wonderful and the bread smelled and tasted lovely. | I found the outing to be very informative and the horses were lovely especially the foal. |
| The Billow visit was exceptionally good, one of the best outings I've been on. I was surprised how good it was for the older age group and making the Bug Hotel was great fun. The family gave us such a warm welcome and stayed with us throughout the whole visit. The bread was lovely and I learnt a lot about margins for wildlife and the different crops. It was a super day out. | Really enjoyed myself, I was fascinated and had a really great insight into what went on with the different crops and why certain weeds were left for the wildlife. The horses were fascinating and I didnt realise they were so big as I have never been that close to one before. I also thought the people were wonderful. |
| The information and organic nature of the farm was very interesting | Brilliant!! The family was warm and welcoming. I learnt a lot and found it all very interesting. The bread making was great fun and seeing the horses was lovely especially the foal. |
